CARE3 materials for teaching social skills:
CARE3 team has also made a card game to teach social skills to youth.
CARE3 card game is a game to develop social skills.
The aim of this game is to get as many “CARE” words by giving suitable solutions to given situations. This game needs one game leader and can have 1-4 players. The game leader has to give the feedback about the solutions that the players are giving and decide if the solution is correct and deserves a letter card ( C, A, R, E).
There are three groups of situation cards:
1. I know my feelings
2. I know what is wrong
3. I know what to do
The game leader can decide whether to use all groups or only the ones that are needed for these players.
The player takes one card from the situation cards, reads it out and gives the solution. The game leader then decides if the solution is correct and deserves a letter card or not. It is important that every situation is always carefully discussed.
If this game sounds interesting for you, please contact the project manager (firstname.lastname@example.org) the card game is available in Estonian, English, Polish, Norwegian and Latvian.
